Similar to the name callouts used for both chain attacks and burst affinity. During the time both Mumkhar and Dickson are in the same party, there are no burst affinity opportunities and the party gauge is disabled.
Dickson calling out Riki and Melia's name. Dickson never rejoins the party at any point after Melia and Riki join.
Interestingly, these two lines don't exist in the Japanese version! Likely intended have said this upon death. Dickson cannot die in the final game due to his unbeatable gem. Mumkhar calling out Dunban and Dickson's names.
During the Battle of Sword Valley there are no burst affinity opportunities and the party gauge is disabled. Likely intended to have been used when encountering high-levelled enemies. No such enemies appear in the time you have Mumkhar in the party. Intended for use when Mumkhar takes a high amount of damage a single hit.
None of the Mechon during the Battle of Sword Valley inflict heavy enough damage with their attacks for this to be used. Possibly intended to have been used when Mumkhar dies. Similar to Dickson, his unbeatable gem prevents him from dying in the final. Lines likely intended when Mumkhar revives or helps a party member with a status condition. No characters can die during the time Mumkhar is in the party and no-one can be cured of status conditions either.
Likely meant to be lines for Mumkhar commenting on another team member's successful dodge through burst affinity. Mumkhar giving an order to flee. You can't control Mumkhar in the first battle and the party leader always gives the flee command. Likely meant to have been spoken when starting the battle and filling the talent gauge respectively.
The tone of the voice clip indicates Alvis would say this when he died. He can't die in the Telethia battle, the only time this would be used. These lines were likely intended after finishing a battle with Alvis in the party. This is a guide covering how to modify audio files in Xenoblade X. This guide will already assume you know what files to change and where they are located.
Step One: The sound files that you will replace the originals need to be of the same length or shorter than the original files, if not you will get very loud audio corruptions.
To do so, first open PES, locate the file you want to replace and convert it to a usable format. Open both the original audio and the replacement in audacity, then trim your file to match the length of the original.
When replacing sounds it is important to remember that the game does not control audio volume, instead the volume is determined by the volume of the sound file.
If you dont lower the volume of your replacement it will be very loud when playing you thought the music in cutscenes was bad. To lower volume in audacity go to 'Effect - Amplify, then set the amplification to a negative value, play with this to make the waveform match the original file.
Their locations seem to correspond to the maps ma the Fallen Arm, which has no new area cutscene and ma the unused Mechonis Field duplicate. Every non-plot vital NPC in the game has a third voice clip of them addressing the speaker in a concerned manner which is never used.
Several of these were not redubbed for the international release. Two pieces of dialogue intended for Mecha-Mumkhar. It can be heard in the Definitive Edition because Mumkhar can be fully defeated in the Time Attack mode. The first voice clip was re-recorded and used for Metal Face's appearance as a boss character in Super Smash Bros.
An unused second-long beeping noise can be found alongside the audio for most of the enemies in the game. Likely used for testing purposes. Several lines are left untranslated and unused in the international releases. It is currently unknown if these lines are used in the Japanese version, though several refer to party members providing cover for each other, which isn't really a thing in the final game. In addition to the "cover" lines, Alvis has some additional lines relating to being warned of visions by Shulk.
